Glad you asked! This is a unique portrait session that is all about celebrating YOU. And if desired, you get to show off your beauty in a slightly more revealing way than yourlast family photo shoot. Typically clients choose to wear sexy outfits, lingerie, or nothing at all. As the word "boudoir" implies these sessions are normally shot in an intimate, bedroom-type atmosphere. These sessions can range from elegant to edgy in feeling, it all depends on the client's wishes!

Prior to your shoot, I will send over a questionnaire so I can get to know you a bit better and also have a clear idea of the direction of your shoot. We will brainstorm together and create a vision. I will also send you styling guides and important details to know before your session date. I got your back!

On the day of your session, you'll be greeted warmly by me and I'll show you around the space where we will be shooting and fine-tune your outfit and accessory selections.

From there, I can grab you a glass of champagne or your beverage of choice, and we'll get started on your hair and makeup. Finally, we will begin photographing your fabulous self! There will be plenty of music to hype you up while we’re shooting!

Here’s something I bet you didn’t think of – when it comes to stripping down in front of other women, we are ALL a little shy. We’ve been accustomed to a society where women often put other women down – but that stops here. I am your biggest fan and will make you feel comfortable by being your friend through this process. I will reassure you of how beautiful you look, how well the colors we chose accentuate your skin and how stellar the pictures are looking throughout the shoot. I will even show you the back of my camera during the session to see for yourself!

Boudoir images are sensitive to many people. I completely understand. If you don’t want your images displayed on my website, blog, social media, etc., they will not be posted. Simple as that. You will also receive a password protected gallery. This is something we go over and will legalize it by signing a contract that stipulates it in detail. If, however, you do want to be featured across my platforms (which I greatly appreciate, as do all the other women you are inspiring!), you can select which ones you feel comfortable with and I will only use those.

I will do my best to focus on the areas of your body you adore rather than on the parts you might be insecure about, including roughness in your skin or rolls. This boudoir experience should make you realize that your beauty is irrelevant of cellulite or extra jiggle room. Allow yourself to be free of self-deprecating thoughts and power yourself with a self-love mindset. I’m here for you!

You can choose to have your proof reveal the same day as your session if you’d like. Typically we would break for lunch, and I would get all your photos together for viewing when you come back.

If you would prefer to come back another day for your reveal and proof selection, you can schedule a day within 14 days from your session date. All reveals are done in person, unless otherwise discussed.

Final image editing takes about two weeks, and products take anywhere from 2-3 weeks depending on the season. Rush orders are available for a fee*.

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!!! You’re engaged! Bridal boudoir sessions are extra amazing, because they celebrate the beginning of one of the most important stages of your life. For all my clients, including those interested in a bridal theme, I recommend booking a session 2-3 months before the desired date of product delivery. As you’ve decided you want to go on this journey with me as your boudoir photographer, book your session! No matter how early on it is!!!

I get it, I've been on the other side of the camera before and it can be intimidating.

Don't worry, I'm not expecting anyone to walk through the door and immediately sprout Victoria's Secret Angel Wings. (But if you do, we'll roll with it!) Throughout your session, I will help you breathe and relax and ease into the shoot with simple, natural posing and I will give gentle direction throughout. I've had my own boudoir photos taken, so I'm familiar with the freaked-out/excited feeling and managing it.

It is completely normal to get aroused during a couples boudoir session. We work through every moment and don't ignore it. I teach my clients that it is okay to feel these kind of feelings and to just continue their session. If someone needs a few minutes to breathe and relax, that time is there for you! But let's be real - We will be having so much fun it's not even a worry!
